Program Terms and Conditions:


Please carefully read all the following information before signing:


COST:  The cost of this program is $1,975.00 per person U.S. dollars if paid in full before December 31, 2019 or $2400.00 per person if paid before May 25, 2020.  The cost of this tour does not include airfare. Early reservations are strongly recommended. A deposit of $500 per person is required at the time of booking.  Payments toward the balance of this trip may be made anytime, however, I hereby agree and understand that Ensign Travel L.L.C. must receive the full, final, and complete payment for the cost of this tour (and Resort if interested) on or before May 25, 2020.


PARTICIPANT CANCELATION POLICY:  All cancellations must be in writing and are effective only upon receipt by Ensign Travel L.L.C.  All late cancellation penalties (after May 25, 2019), both of Ensign Travel and any hotels, vendors, or operators, are the responsibility of the participant.  With the many recent changes in the travel industry such as the issuing of non-refundable group airline tickets, Ensign Travel L.L.C. strongly recommends that participants purchase travel protection insurance.  No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after May 25, 2020.


PROGRAM CHANGES: Ensign Travel L.L.C. reserves the right to make changes or substitutions in the interest of the program in order to meet unexpected situations, such as increases in fares and accommodation rates, airline failures, and changes in currency rates prior to departure.  The cost of the tour is based on tariffs, accommodation rates, and rates of exchange quoted to Ensign Travel L.L.C at the time of publication.  These prices are expected to be in effect at the time of departure; however, any increases in price made by the airlines, hotels, vendors, and operators, or resulting from changes in the exchange rate, will be passed on to you - the participant.  If such rates change prior to departure, Ensign Travel L.L.C. is not under any obligation to pay extra expenses arising from the changes. The resultant cost increase will be billed to each participant’s account and will require immediate settlement. 


PROGRAM CANCELLATION:  Ensign Travel L.L.C. reserves the right to cancel the program, if deemed necessary for reasons including insufficient program participation and circumstances beyond Ensign Travel L.L.C.’ control, such as strikes, lockouts, riots, wars, whether declared or undeclared, hostilities, civil disturbances, acts of God, acts of governments or other authorities, thefts, pilferage, epidemics, quarantines, custom regulations, delays, or cancellations of or changes in itinerary or schedules or from any causes beyond Ensign Travel L.L.C.’ control.  In such event, Ensign Travel L.L.C. shall have no responsibility, beyond the refund of deposits and monies paid to Ensign Travel L.L.C. by the participants.  A refund will then be made to participants, within 30 days, by means of a company or bank check.


LOSS AND DAMAGE:  Ensign Travel L.L.C. or any associated representatives, act as agents for the hotels, airlines, ship companies, or owners or contractors providing accommodations, transportation or other services.  Contracts and tickets are issued subject to any and all tariffs, terms and conditions under which any services whatsoever are provided by such vendors or contractors. Ensign Travel L.L.C. or any associated representative shall not be, or become liable or responsible for, any loss or injury or damages to person, baggage, property, or for any additional expenses or liability sustained by the traveler in connection with any services resulting directly or indirectly from any acts described above.  The tickets or contracts in use by any vendor or contractor providing any services shall constitute the sole contract between such vendor or contractor and the purchaser of tour and/or tour member.


HEALTH AND TRAVEL INSURANCE:  We advise each participant to have a physical checkup and have your own health insurance policy.  Ensign Travel L.L.C. cannot be responsible for illnesses that may occur while traveling.  Since group sightseeing can be physically taxing, we recommend that persons who suffer from any physical impairment, which could hinder them from normal participation, contact Ensign Travel L.L.C. prior to submitting an application.  I hereby grant permission for emergency first aid to be administered if deemed necessary.  Ensign Travel L.L.C. does not provide medical and accident insurance.  If an emergency or health crisis should occur on the tour, medical assistance will be secured; however, the cost of such medical assistance will be the responsibility of the participant. Personal insurance is strongly recommended through private insurance companies.  Although it is not mandatory, we strongly recommend that each participant in this program obtain Travel Insurance, as many of these expenses are covered by Travel Insurance


DEATH: Ensign Travel L.L.C. shall not be liable for any death, nor for any damages or claims arising from negligence of any person not its employee or under its exclusive control.  


STANDARDS:  All participants are required to maintain ideals and standards of honor, integrity, morality, and abstinence from narcotics, alcohol, tobacco, coffee, tea, etc., are mandatory.  As a participant in this program, I shall:

  1. Support and uphold high moral standards and maintain appropriate sexual relationships and behavior with regard to others and myself.

  2. Dress modestly at all times.  I understand that clothing is inappropriate when it is strapless, backless, or revealing. 

  3. Accept the suggestions and direction of the program director in all matters pertaining to the program or personal conduct, imposed curfews, health, or hygiene.

If I refuse to follow these guidelines, and any other instructions of the tour director, I recognize that my participation in the tour may be cancelled with Ensign Travel L.L.C. being entitled to retain any amounts paid by me. I will also fully indemnify Ensign Travel L.L.C. for any loss suffered as a result of my behavior.


TRANSPORTATION:  I understand and agree that all tickets are issued subject to any and all terms and conditions under which means of transportation or other services are offered and provided by the issuer, and that Ensign Travel L.L.C. shall not be or become liable or responsible in any way in connection with such transportation or other such services, or for any loss, injury or damage to, or in respect of, any person or property howsoever caused or arising, or for damages resulting from any other cause connected directly or indirectly with the program for which application is hereby made.

C.E.S. AFFILIATION:  Although the directors of this program may be employees of the L.D.S. Church Educational System, I hereby acknowledge my understanding that this program is not affiliated with the Church Educational System in any way and shall save and hold harmless the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the L.D.S. Church Educational System, the directors of the program, and any other individual or organization connected with this tour.


AGREEMENT AND SIGNATURE(S):  Having read carefully this information concerning the program, I hereby submit my application (front and back of this paper) for membership in the program and agree to comply with the guidelines and regulations of this program.  I understand that said application must be approved by Ensign Travel L.L.C. and the director.  With this application, I include my $500.00 deposit (payable to: Ensign Travel L.L.C.) and agree that full and final payments will be submitted as provided above.
